Our history
Company name Smooth* Drug Development reflects our main principle – to provide a constant and continuous development of pharmaceutical products for our Clients.
Key milestones:
2008 A team of clinical research experts launches a start-up Smooth Clinical Trials to focus on early phase research.
2011 The company expands its portfolio of services and starts working as a contract research organization to conduct studies of therapeutic and bioequivalence of generic drugs.
2013 The company expands its scope of activities and, under the brand name Smooth Drug Development, provides a full range of services for international clinical trials.
2014 The first certification for ISO 9001 "Quality Management Systems" is passed.
2015 The company opens new offices in Europe.
2016 Smooth launches its own Smooth Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) platform and its first module ePatient Diary (ePRO).
2017 The first certification for ISO 22301 "Business Continuity Management Systems" is passed.
2018 Smooth CTMS modules launched: Learning / Quality Management and Personal Folder.
2020 Smooth CTMS modules launched: Project Management, Trial Master / Investigator File, Monitoring, Case Report Form, eSrource Document and IWRS.
2021 The first certification for ISO 27001 "Information Security Management Systems" is passed.
